Serbia may take a dispute with Hungary over gas transit fees to the European Court of Justice if no agreement is reached by the end of the year, CEO of state-owned gas company Srbijagas Dusan Bajatovic told Serbian daily Politka, Bloomberg reported.
Serbia is demanding Hungary lower its transit fee of $30 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas imported from Russia, Bajatovic said. The fee is six times higher than the regional average, he added.
