Serbian government is negotiating the construction of the new block of Nikola Tesla thermal electric power plant with potential partners from China. The two parties are discussing two forms of credit financing.
The first form would make Serbian national power company Elektroprivreda the majority owner of the plant, and the second form provides for a Chinese consortium to be the majority owner. Chinese government delegation will be visiting Serbia on July 11 and 12 to discuss the details on the Chinese loan.
