Hungary, MVM entered markets in Belgium, the Netherlands and Greece in late August

MVM Partner, an electricity trading subsidiary of the Hungarian state-owned energy company MVM, entered markets in Belgium, the Netherlands and Greece in late August.

MVM Partner said that it is currently present in the electricity markets in 20 European countries, including Hungary, and that it is active on eleven energy exchanges. The company’s international trade volume exceeded 47 TWh in 2020, which represents close to 40 % of the total trade volume of 122 TWh for that year.

MVM Partner has previously been present in the markets of Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Italy, Switzerland, Montenegro and Spain.
