Windmills in Kostolac

The project of first EPS (Electric power of Serbia) windmill park in the area of Kostolac, with total power of 30 mw, was recently announced by Mr.Dragomir Markovic general manager of EPS.

First manager of EPS explained that for several years certain measurements are being done, the maps of winds are being explored and one location in Kostolac area is selected on the ground where EPS has the right of use.

So far EPS did some wind measurements in the area of Kula, Resavica and Kostolac which proved to be the best option. According to the leading RES engineer in EPS, the production of documentation for this Kostolac project is expected on the fall, and this step will lead other steps in this investment realization.
